Middle East Business

Middle East Business opportunities are far more diverse than oil and oil-related products. Most petroleum rich countries in the region (such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Kuwait) have undertaken efforts to diversify their economies in recent years, while others (such as Israel, Turkey and Egypt) already have a highly diverse economic base. Industries of the Middle Eastern region include oil and gas, agriculture, cotton, cattle, dairy, textiles, leather products, surgical instruments and defense. Banking is also an important sector of the economies, especially in the case of UAE and Bahrain.
